On February 26th, NAU hosted the first Campus Kid’s Day of the year and it was an absolute blast! The NAU Men’s Tennis Team hosted GCU and they were able to sweep the match 4-0. The junior players were able to meet the team, watch some great matches, and even hit on the NAU courts! Thank you to everyone who made this event possible and we look forward to watching the Lumberjacks the rest of the season!
Our second Camps Kids Day of the season was an absolute blast! The kids were able to meet the NAU Tennis teams, eat some delicious pizza provided by Flagstaff Tennis Association, and even hang out with Louie the Lumberjack! We were also able to recognize Kaitlyn Morehead, NAU’s Tennis on Campus president who recently won the USTA National Award for Tennis on Campus leader of the year! The matches featured the Men’s team losing a tight battle to University of Idaho 3-4, but the Women’s team swept Eastern Washington 7-0. Thank you to all the coaches, players, and volunteers who helped make this event possible. Good luck to both teams the rest of the season and we look forward to seeing everyone out on the courts soon!
