$25THIS EVENT IS ON SUNDAY, JUNE 14 at Ron Hren/Hal Jensen Courts from 9:00-12:00 pm
This Junior Event will be for players 8U-12U! Team challenge is an introduction to tennis competition offering a low-pressure team environment for children of all ages to develop their skills through level-based play, without an emphasis on instruction or results. Participants are expected to at least drop hit serve from the service line over the net and sustain a modified rally.
This event is orange ball and green ball. Players must be 9 years old or have cleared the orange ball Play Tracker to play green. If players are 7-9 years old and have not completed the orange ball Play Tracker, they play orange. Players who have cleared the orange ball Play Tracker or who are 9 or older, who, for developmental purposes, want to play orange, may continue to do so.
The competition is meant for players to feel free to apply skills without fear of losing or focus on outcome. As such, the USTA will not be awarding medals for any finishers. Play Tracker points will be awarded in accordance with the ball color’s requirments.
