Oxendale Auto Group Championships

TOURNAMENT OVERVIEW:
– This is the inaugural year for the OXENDALE AUTO GROUP CHAMPIONSHIPS. Hosted in beautiful Cottonwood/Sedona, Arizona this event is a USTA sanctioned tournament for players of all ages and levels.
– Adult divisions include open, age-based, and NTRP singles, doubles, and mixed doubles events.
-All entries are assured of at least two matches per event entered.
– Juniors divisions include singles, doubles, and mixed doubles events by age division (e.g., 18s, 16s, 14s, 12s, 10s).
– The number of entries determines the draw type for a given event, but all events will assure each entrant of at least two matches per event entered. whenever time, weather, and facilities permit. Matches will be played at two court sites, Mingus Union High School in Cottonwood (Event HQ) and Sedona Red Rock High School in Sedona.
– Early fall is a beautiful time to play tennis in and explore the Sedona/Cottonwood area. Abundant sunshine, seasonal mild temperatures, and drier air at 4500′ elevation make for comfortable conditions to compete in the day and relax in the evening.

COURT SITES: Mingus Union (8 courts) and Sedona Red Rock High School (6 courts).
CHECK IN: Each court site will have a tournament desk. Players must check in at the tournament desk at least 15 minutes before their scheduled match.
MATCH DATES/TIMES: Check the draws in TennisLink periodically to determine match dates/times.
DRESS CODE: Per SW Section policy established May 2012, all players are required to wear appropriate tennis attire. Cut off shorts, bare midriffs, compression shorts & tights (alone), or any other attire that is simply recreational and not tennis oriented are not acceptable.
