Last Friday, the Flagstaff Tennis Association ran their annual Breast Cancer Tennis Fundraiser”
Thank you to all of the players, donors and organizers for our successful 2nd Annual Flagstaff Tennis Association Breast Cancer Tennis Fundraiser. This year we raised more than $1300 to donate to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation! We had a fun evening of tennis play, testing our serve speed and hitting accuracy.A special thank you goes to Maciej Bogusz for the use of the tennis facility. This event would not be possible without his generosity and his commitment to the Flagstaff tennis community.
Thank you to Jade Luera who designed the earrings we sold, and who generously donated proceeds from the sales. Thank you to Kristen Downs for donating the delicious tea. Thank you to Rick Goldwasser for help with the line ups and for the use of the tennis balls and for promoting the event. Thanks to Gordon Medford for encouraging the drop-in group to attend. Thanks to Pat for helping set up and for jumping in to play!
Many who were unable to attend made generous donations – thank you! Thanks to all of the players who joined the event and who came dressed in breast cancer pink or Halloween costumes.
